 Rodolfo, a.k.a. “Jun” is a Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines. He moved to Canada as a Permanent Resident with his family in 2005. As a newcomer, and despite his Philippine CPA designation not being recognized in Canada, he was fortunate to have found work opportunities in the Accounting industry - as a Field Examiner/Auditor, Chief General Accountant, to name a few. In 2013 and 2014, he obtained his Certified Management Accountant and Chartered Professional Accountant designations, respectively. 

In 2009, Rodolfo started Actax-Canada (Ontario) to provide tax filing services to caregivers and newcomers; later on adding accounting, bookkeeping and financial services catering to individuals and small to medium-sized companies. In 2012, the Yonge & Steeles office opened its doors.

Rodolfo learned that majority of his clients have an increasing need for immigration assistance. Likewise, he had clients who need caregivers for their children and senior family members but had difficulty in finding a good match.

From this, in 2015, Actax Canada Employment Solutions (ACES) was born. The goal is to provide employers competent caregivers who are already in Canada, addressing employers’ needs and expectations. Equally, ACES wanted to provide caregivers and nannies overseas, a chance to find employment in Canada and an opportunity to secure a better future for their families.

Simultaneously, Rodolfo worked towards becoming a licensed Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC). In 2018, Actax Canada Immigration Consultancy Services (ACICS) was established to help our clients with their immigration needs. In late 2018, due to an increased number of applicants, an office in the Philippines, Actax Philippines Canada Immigration Consultancy Services Corp. (CIC Philippines) was set up to assist our clients directly from the Philippines. To date, we have helped thousands of individuals and families make Canada their home.
